We’ve done this by providing people with exactly the right security for the right situation – something that’s only possible by understanding the needs of different consumers. It’s also why in this country we’re proud to support the New Zealand Made initiative, producing many of our products locally. Our Yale NZ factory, located in Auckland’s North Shore, manufactures some of our most popular products like window handles and sliding door locks. From casting and painting to assembling and packaging, many of the products you see on retail shelves enter our factory as raw materials and leave as finished products which are then shipped out to stores across the country. With 250 Kiwis employed on site, we have a complete team trained to deal with all elements of the production, sales, and support process. Investing in local manufacturing is important to us at Yale. In fact we have recently commissioned a new powder coating line in our factory, allowing us to offer products in over 350 colours even faster, all while reducing our factory’s impact on the environment. We are proud to be part of the New Zealand Made initiative, supporting local Kiwi suppliers and providing a more secure future for Kiwi businesses and workers.
